Pick-n-Paint Ceramics
Pick-n-Paint is a paint your own pottery studio offering a relaxing, café-like environment where children and adults alike can enjoy painting ceramics. You do not need to be an artist or have experience to paint pottery. Our staff is here to help you create your first piece of pottery for yourself or as a gift.
This is how it works:
We have over 70 different ceramic pieces to choose from – from small votives or tiles, to larg platters, bowls and vases. Use our books, magazines, stamps, stencils, or your own imagination. Draw your design in pencil on your piece… and erase it if you make a mistake!
Then it’s time to paint, you can choose from over 45 colours of glaze and paint your piece.
Each item of painted pottery is then glazed and fired in our kiln ready for collection after 10 days. All our supplies are totally non-toxic and washable.
We are open 5 days a week for drop-in customers, Wed&Thu 12-20, Fri 11-18, Sat&Sun 11-17. For groups of 6 people or more we are happy to accept reservation for days and times other than our normal opening hours. In our studio we can arrange birthday parties, hen parties, corporate staff activites and similar events. For these occasions we can also provide snacks or food according to your wish.
There is a studio fee for customers who paint; 50 SEK for kids and 80 SEK for adults. For larger families we have a discount of 50-100 SEK depending on the size of the family. This charge covers the cost of the paints, glazing and firing.
The pottery prices range from 40 – 420 SEK, all pieces are individually marked. For group reservations including food or visits by our mobile studio we will discuss the price when we plan your event.
